A NOTE ON THE DATA
These lines are
only the beginning.
These are representative routes, not individual tracking data. Paths, timing, and distances are simplified illustrations inspired by documented migrations; they do not show exact locations or imply that every animal takes the same route.
Built from public knowledge shared by Movebank, Ocean Tracking Network, OBIS-SEAMAP, eBird, Monarch Watch, and published tracking studies. Land outlines: Natural Earth, public domain.
